Where it started
In 2009 I was building VBA and Office automation apps. They led me to .NET, and to freelance work and my first developer role.
Products for other companies
From 2012 I worked in product teams: first as a .NET developer, then as team lead and senior engineer, then as project manager and software architect. With those teams I built a Winter Olympics app with 30,000+ downloads, a fitness-facility platform in the UAE, a food-delivery platform, Unity games and an in-flight entertainment app for an airline. Later I led seven developers across five projects and re-architected a help-desk and reporting platform.
An engineering company of my own
In 2018 I co-founded an engineering company and served as its Co-founder & CTO. With the team I built electronics and UAV hardware: custom UAV platforms, their firmware, their ground control and C2, and the communications that kept them in touch with the ground.
Identity, blockchain, games and the metaverse
Then came enterprise single sign-on for 100,000+ users, the infrastructure around a Layer-1 blockchain, and a game and metaverse engine for 100+ games that signed its players in through that SSO. The sign-on ran on Keycloak at 99.9% uptime. On the chain, a customised Ethereum fork, I architected the nodes, a multisig wallet, an explorer, staking, an NFT marketplace and smart contracts. The metaverse paired procedural worlds and terrain with a daily economy I designed.
Country-scale mission systems
Then an air-gapped mission simulation platform and the country-scale data pipeline behind it, delivered into sites with no network. The platform works on a 3D digital twin of a whole country, built for simulation: formations drawn on a 2D map play out in 3D, generated at runtime. I led a 10-person team on it as solution architect and engineering lead. The pipeline prepares a whole country's terrain, imagery and roads, and packs map tiles, search and routing into each delivery.
AI agents
Now I build agent systems and run them daily, and use AI-assisted delivery in the way I build. There are 4 agent systems in daily use: an intelligence-triage agent, a self-hosted multi-agent assistant, an agentic document pipeline and a two-model engineering workflow. Evals decide which changes to the triage agent stay, and a human reviews what the document pipeline drafts before it is sent. This site's chatbot is a live example: it answers only from the site's own content.
Reach
Across 15+ years, 100+ projects in seven countries: Austria, UAE, Philippines, Kenya, Indonesia, USA and Pakistan. I work from Lahore, Pakistan, remotely or on site.

How I work
These are systems I have worked on as architect, CTO or engineering lead. On every one I owned the requirements, the architecture and the technology decisions and oversaw the engineering. On many I also wrote a large share of the code myself, and on everything from my co-founded engineering company, the architecture and much of the code are mine.
